MY;STATE OF THE NATION ADDRESS.

Good afternoon fellow citizenry,

Tonight is a night of anticipation and high level expectation for all of you. It is a night the country looks back at what achievements we have managed to make in the few years we’ve walked outside the shadows of colonialism and trace the roots of our problems and how best we can solve the critical issues surrounding society.

Don’t expect miracles my dear ones, for we shall always reap from what we sow, the supreme one also acknowledges that. If we buy 1.7 trillion jets, we should not hope for hospitals and schools, when we drown billions in the state house, we should not expect  more jobs for our youths, we should not expect tarmacked roads when ministers spend insane amounts of money on abroad health care.

Fellow citizens, this is the actual state of the nation, brethren, one of stretches of police lines on almost each street in the city, one of grumpy old politicians that cant withstand even 5 minutes of a speech yet they hold strong public offices.

The nation has descended from one of politicians with visions to one of those with opportunistic and individualistic ideals. Politicians that are not functioning to those who just think their trickery and pointing out of problems will earn them a vote, little wonder they are even divided on simple issues.

Key and critical sectors worth talking about in my state of nation address are education, health and youth graduates.

My country, loses 690billion to tax incentives and exemptions to large corporations but however corporate research also proves that the top 35 corporations exempted from taxes only pay 50% to the tax revenues, ashaming indeed, so as a pre-requisite for national development, half the money (395bn) meant for tax exemptions and tax incentives to foreign investors shall be diverted towards venture capital fund for the 5 million graduates from universities. Recognise, the difference now, that 5 million well shaped and trained graduates will each get 750million as start-up capital for their brilliant ideas, however sector streamlining will also take place as critical sectors like health and education will take centre stage.

Teachers, will also get a 395bn boost for salaries but however the boost should act as an entreprenuerial model where investment will be made with the 395 billion for a more resourceful salary benefit…..relax am not president but anyway that was just tax exemptionsd and incentives that i sliced moreoever not the real incentives but the money we lose to it…………..please don’t vote me
